Inspired by California’s coastline at golden hour, this flower arranging workshop celebrates the warmth, movement, and effortless beauty of a summer sunset.

In this hands-on floral design class, you’ll create a seasonal arrangement featuring peach, coral, apricot, blush, and golden blooms while learning the design principles professional florists use to create balance, movement, and abundance.

Together, we’ll explore color harmony, flower selection, floral mechanics, and composition techniques that transform an arrangement from beautiful to unforgettable. The result is a design that feels organic, elegant, and inspired by the natural beauty of the California coast.

Perfect for flower lovers, hosts, creatives, and anyone looking to slow down and spend an evening surrounded by seasonal flowers. You’ll leave with a finished arrangement valued at approximately $200, practical floral design skills, and a little piece of a California sunset to enjoy at home.

We’ll be starting promptly, so plan to arrive 15 minutes early to settle in, sip something refreshing, and get ready to bloom. Viola Floral Founder, Jelena Trifunovic, M.Ed. — entrepreneur, former science educator/professor, and mother of three. Jelena’s passion for floral design is centered around the special bond she shared with her late mom. Master Designer, Elise Piatkowski — Weary of the daily grind of commuting to her Manhattan office job, Elise sought a change. With the support of friends and the invaluable guidance of talented mentors, she transformed a passion for floral design into a full-time profession. Almost a decade later, Elise has honed her skills and cultivated a distinctive, authentic style, and enjoys sharing her knowledge through workshops and teaching experiences at Viola Floral.
