Nov. 19 Calligraphy and Flowers Workshop
- Description
This holiday season, personalized place cards are the elegant (and let’s be honest— adorable) touch your table’s been waiting for.
Join us for a hands-on Calligraphy & Flowers Workshop that celebrates creativity, connection, and a little pre-holiday sparkle. We’ve teamed up with the talented Mian Gallardo Barrios, professional calligraphist, to learn the art of modern calligraphy just in time for the holiday season— think place cards, gift tags, and handwritten notes.
Jelena, our Viola Floral founder, will guide you through designing a delicate bud vase— the prettiest companions to your calligraphed creations and a lovely little keepsake for your guests to take home.
Together, we’ll style a beautiful Thanksgiving tablescape full of warmth, texture, and Viola charm. All materials are included— just bring your creativity (and maybe your bestie).
Level: Beginner— perfect for anyone who loves thoughtful entertaining with a fun, floral twist.
Viola Floral Studio: 1639 11th St. Suite 162, Santa Monica
Convenient parking in the back of the building.
Please note that all workshops are non-refundable, but if something comes up, feel free to send a friend in your place — flower joy is always transferable. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to settle in, sip something refreshing, and get ready to bloom.
Our Promise
The pictures shown are recent examples of actual arrangements we designed and delivered. The time of year determines the type of flowers that are available — the changing seasons inspire creativity in our arrangements and make them all unique. Thus, substitutions to flowers or vases may happen. Please note that while we don’t guarantee that the flowers will look exactly the same as in the photo, we do guarantee that your arrangement will match the overall aesthetic in the photo.
Flower Care Tips
Add fresh, cool water every 1-2 days or change the water completely.
Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat or vents.
Every stem has a different expected vase life — as blooms expire, pull them out.
Enjoy your arrangement’s subtle changes each day and #liveinfullbloom.
