What Is Passport to Bloom™?
Passport to Bloom™ is a year-long journey, one destination at a time. Each month, our Santa Monica studio transforms into a new corner of the world – from the lemon groves of the Amalfi Coast to the cherry blossoms of Kyoto and the wild native landscapes of Byron Bay.
Every immersive workshop pairs an iconic location with its seasonal blooms, a signature design style, and a local flavor to sip as you create. You'll gather in our light-filled space, hear the stories and traditions behind each destination, and design an arrangement inspired by that place – so you leave with more than a beautiful bouquet. You leave with a feeling, a memory, and a little bit of somewhere new.
Every Passport to Bloom™ experience includes:
- A professionally guided floral design workshop
- Destination-inspired cocktails and curated bites
- Stories and traditions from each destination Premium seasonal flowers
- A stunning arrangement to take home
We’re also delighted to partner with DGL Collective, who will bring each destination to life through a thoughtfully curated collection of food and home décor, showcasing globally inspired vintage pieces. Together, Viola Floral and DGL Collective will create an immersive escape where flowers, design, and the spirit of travel come together.

Flowers have always been our way of slowing down, connecting, and feeling something real – and travel does the same thing. Passport to Bloom™ lets us pair the two: the meditative, hands-on joy of designing with your hands, and the escape of stepping into a new place for an evening.
We've also designed each month to feel genuinely different. The blooms change, the color stories change, and so does the design itself – a loose French garden arrangement in Provence, a bold Día de los Muertos–inspired piece in Mexico City, a sculptural native arrangement in Byron Bay, an asymmetrical hanami design in Kyoto. Twelve destinations, twelve distinct techniques to learn, twelve reasons to come back.
