Healing Bloom Zoom
Flowers do more than fill a space with beauty— they’re also instruments for healing. Research shows that flowers can lower anxiety, reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall emotional wellness. Flowers provide a form of therapy, and Viola Flora has partnered with the Hirshberg Foundation and Mayesh Wholesale Florist to offer this calming class for patients on their healing journey.
Please join us on Saturday, May 22nd, from 10 am-11 am for a private, virtual flower arranging class, provided at no cost to ten patients. Each invitee will receive a bucket of fresh, seasonal blooms (courtesy of Mayesh Wholesale Florist) and a vase delivered to their doorstep. A private Zoom link will be provided prior to the start of class and will lead you through the basics of floral arranging. This will be a special opportunity to experience flower therapy, socialize and enjoy creative expression by designing a gorgeous arrangement from the safety and comfort of your home.
Classes are taught by Viola Floral founder Jelena Trifunovic, M.A., a floral designer, seasoned K-12 science educator, and mother of three, whose passion for giving back is centered on the love for her late mother, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2016. Jelena and her mother often arranged flowers together, and now Jelena is honored to share their joy of flowers to provide healing through floral therapy.
